Gabi's time spent wandering amongst the mist-covered peaks and ancient forests of her home in Scotland, instilled within her a passion for nature’s wild, untamed beauty. There, in the serenity of the highlands, she discovered the pulse of magic that flows through both the earth and her own soul, merging with the deep love for fantasy that has always colored her creative vision. Her art is a delicate fusion of the ancient Celtic traditions of her native Scotland, blended with the rich cultural legacy of the Iberian Peninsula, where Celtic influences intertwined with the vibrant spirit of her Portuguese ancestry. Each piece she creates carries within it echoes of these places, an elegant dance between past and present, folklore and reality. After a serendipitous courtship with a Celtic musician in America, Gabi’s path led her to the United States, where she now roots herself beside her husband, Kyle. Together, they wander the country with Kyle’s band, Syr, spreading music and magic at Celtic festivals and Highland Games. When she is not forging beauty in silver, Gabi stands behind the lens, capturing the essence of their journeys and bringing the stories of their adventures to life through photography and film, weaving the threads of her own art with the rhythm of the world around her.
